HyRaii flies at Match-Race St.Moritz

In the context of a focus project at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich, ETH, we intend to develop and build a new type of sailboat. By steering hydrofoils by means of a sophisticated control, we set the goal to sail as fast as possible and therefore to set new speed records for wind powered boats.
We share the benefit of a broad support by Professor Roland Siegwart’s Autonomous System Lab (ASL) at the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering at ETH Zürich
Our team consists of six students in mechanical engineering in their last year of the bachelor course at ETH, and two students in electrical engineering, one in his last year of the master course at ETH, and one in his last year of the bachelor course at FH Burgdorf.
